Why would you want the cheapest? That would usually mean the poorest quality, in the case of a lift kit, that would mean poor CV angles increasing the likelihood of an expensive failure, not to mention wobbling and vibrations in the front end that have been problematic on the 06+ trucks. Just curious is all..

just do a 2.5" level kit and 3" body lift...total be probably around 1000-1200 after install and everything, which gives you 5.5" lift up front and 3 in back, when a 6 inch lift give you 6 up front and 4 in back, and your gonna spend about 12 - 1300 more for a suspension lift with install...

I'm not a big fan of 2.5" of level, that puts the CVs at pretty severe angles as well. A lot of guys run with it, but a lot of guys take them out too.

For some reason these trucks take 2" better than they take 2 1/2", but regardless, I agree with you in the fact that since the OP is looking for the "cheapest" lift he can find, he's obviously not an off-roader and is going for look, so a level and BL combo would be his best bet...

Rancho 4" suspension. Pretty beefy kit, I had never done a suspension lift before, installed three body lifts on previous trucks, sometimes in addition to coils on SFA trucks I've had. I really researched the hell out of this and even bugged about every guy in my hunting club, often driving their trucks.

It's not an inexpensive lift, by any means, in fact when I bought it, it was on a special with free shipping and a set of four free Rancho RS9000x shocks and was still more expensive than any of the 6" kits except the Skyjacker. The thing I liked about the Rancho was it used a full sub-frame as opposed to just a single or dual crossbeam. It also replaced a lot of suspension components with much larger ones, like the tie rod and ends.

I was tempted to get the Skyjacker with the optional real leafs, but I know me, and would have eventually tempted fate and mounted 37s on it as the Skyjacker at the time was the only 6" kit that gave you a TRUE 6", meaning it was the only one could clear 37s with no other mods.
I'm a firm believer that 6" of all suspension lift with 37s is a no-no on an IFS truck. Seen some big time CV failures with my own eyes. So the 4" Rancho keeps me honest. LMAO!!!

With the SXT, I imagine you have 3.55 gears, after the install, are you planning to get 4.56s or at least 4.10s?

You really cant be cheap when it comes to a lift. You either go big or you dont do it at all. Sorry for the discouragment but those are just the facts. Tires dont come cheap, same with rims and gears. The lift is the part where you want the best quality, tires, you can just get off kijiji.
