Default Moving to NC, Leveling Questions, & Tire sizes

Hey ya'll so check this...I got orders to Bragg to off of the Rock (Hawaii) and back home to NC woohoo! I'm trying to go ahead and order all the stuff i need for the truck so when my truck gets off the boat i can start cranking on getting the leveling kit put on. So my question is what size level would i need for a 08 Dodge Ram QC 2WD pickup? Ive been reading around and i heard you could do a 2.5 and also a 3in the front and a 1.5 in the back...Would this work to fit 35in tires? I've been looking on so many different sites and well it dosent really make any sense to me..Plus i dont know if i would need new shocks etc etc...So help on all this would be awesome!!!! BTW Thanks for everyone who commented on my R&R from Iraq...Had a great time!!!!

I would sell the truck down there and buy a 4x4 once you are back to the main land.

I got my level kit thru a local shop here in central florida...as well as the tires and rims...I had minor rubbing, but some trimming of the front wheel wells fixed that right up...I paid right at 400 for level kit installed, and right at 1700 for rims and tires...

If i told my wife that i wanted to get rid of that truck when i had a beg her to get it...She would freak...Plus we just got her a new car so she would be like oh hells na! So this leveling kit and wheel tire combo is like a welcome back from iraq present from her...But if i could sell it and get another i totally would...But ill never buy a new vehicle ever again...I got sick to my stomach when i drove off the lot and looked on ebay the next day at the dealerships selling the same trucks for 8k less....

first off thank you for your service and ecstatic to see your back from the sand pit safe and sound!!!

second welcome back to gods country!!!! you will have to try and make the next nc gtg. it will probably be sometime in late summer or early fall.

i ordered my level kit from fatbobsgarage.com and upgraded to the better shocks. i ordered the 2 inch kit and probably should have gone with a 2.5 or 3. my truck is still off by about an inch but im gonna live with it for now.
