well my fenders are rustin... thinking i might just get flares and cover it. and cant picture my black truck with it. pics appreciated

120k miles on an 03, its not too untimely. but ya it pisses me off

damn.. i dont have any flares, but i love flares on trucks, i like the pocket style flares on lifted trucks and just regular flares on non lifted trucks, just my opinion...

you might want to fix the rust before u put the flares on it... it will just make it worse... even if you grind it down and then through some "Por-15" or any rust inhibtor- or how ever you spell it- primer. then put the flares over top of that!... just make sure if you fix it you seal the metal so if in case water gets behind the flare it doesnt start rusting again

btw POR 15 is amazing stuff.. just rough up the rust spot.. like get what ever flakes off, off. then just brush the POR 15 on.

Dont mean to hi-jack, but!

actually just a question for you americans, here in canada at our National4wd , an offroad truck shop.. for a 2004 1500 SLT Q/C ..the bushwacker flares are around 520- 600 canadian $$$ whats it normally cost down below the border?
thats for the 2.5 pocket style

I agree ramh, those are mean lookin and are on my long list of Mods to come. Depending on the Truck Flat Black would look good too but colourmatch i like. Mexico thats the price to pay in Winter salt season country if you got Rust. Been through that having lived in 4 of Canada's 6 eastern Provinces. Out West here my 03's got Brownish surface rust in the lowers from all the gravel they use (Kinda like permanent sandblasting.

550 in the states another 250 to paint . thats what i paid .

List is 700, avail at Dealer for $ 600 Quoted Medicine Hat. AB (Bushwacker with SS fasteners flat-Black)

Shipping and Duty on 400-500 US will Kill you as I think there too big for USPS.
