Well, I was on this 4 mile long brand new country road today. I passed a guy I know and he sped up to me and waved at me to stop....we raced from about a 25mph roll, and he stomped me (obviously)...but then I started catching up to him and eventually passed him, my truck was rolling at 116 and still had some (i guess his shut off)

My question is how did I get to 116 without a programmer or anything???

Not sure assuming the speedo is accurate and the speed governer is the same on the 07 than the 02-05 series.

not sure how you got up to 116... maybe your truck was programmed at some point?

 

I beat a crotch rocket today. We were racing from a traffic light to 30 mph. Does that count? Then neither does yours. lol sorry bro... those trucks are fast. I keep tryin to get my buddy with a 2010 hemi to race me -- he wont cause he knows he'll lose.

 

obviously the dude on the motorcycle didnt know how to drive.. or it was a cb 125, or kawi 250 LOL...
i have an R6 which is a 600cc sport bike and there's not much out there on the road---other then other motorbikes that i cannot beat.

Obviously it was a joke...I know I couldnt beat a 2010 Hemi, i have a PRE-08 4.7.

I dont know what my speed limiter is...I assumed 99-100 like most other trucks, and I also assumed the same for the Hemi. Thats why I said I guess his shut off.

My truck has never been programmed, I bought it with like 13 miles on it. And obviously I was over 100 because I blew by him at 100ish. Thats my big question.

By the way, when I let off, my truck felt like it was almost engine braking....like almost downshifting but it stayed in gear....whats up with that?

 

I had my '02 w/ the 5.9 @ 110, then my L.E.D. Light bar blew off the roof. Never been programmed to my knowledge.
