Default My truck got a workout today

Before I get flamed to bad, I know the weight was way over what I should have been hauling.

Had to get some stuff to do landscaping for my uncle:

First load, 700lbs of mulch, no biggie.
Load 2, 2985lbs (total gross weight with me in was 8700 on the scale) of shale/pavers/dust. The truck was on the bumpstops, but had no problem braking and had more than enough power. The front end was lighter, but did not wander much. I only hauled it 8 miles, but it worked.

Phew man, that is a lot of weight in the bed. Pretty cool pic with it all weighed down.

It wasn't intended. I wanted one ton, and got an extra 1000lbs, but she handled it well. I am just glad I did not get pulled over, I was way over my weight class

way to go man, that's what a truck is for! i've been hauling a dump trailer, about 4 94 lb cement bags, and 4-5 cement workers (including me) with mine for the last month averaging 60 miles a day.
