like rubberfrog i started with just a leveling lift and then ended up going with a 6". don't think i will go any higher though.

If I put a 2.5" leveling kit on my 06 4.7 4wd do I have to change anything and can I put 35's on it?

You can run 35's, but don't expect to get much, if any, articulation out of it in a wheeling situation. Also, if you plan on using the stocker rims, you're gonna have to get some wheel spacers....

What do you mean by get any articulation?And stock 17's running 35's you need wheel spacers? Im not going to lie I have never heard of those

Articulation is referring to the travel in the suspension as you are crawling over rocks and un eaven terrain. Articulation is important because it keeps your tires on the ground, in return keeping the power to the terrain giving you traction. If your truck doesnt articulate enough, you will being floating on two tires... lol... I will find a good youtube vid in a sec to show you.

4.7Ram... just for the recoard man, I think your truck is a great looking truck. Ive always been a big fan of the leveled, stock wheels, bigger tires look, especially on a pickup. I just think it looks more realistic...

This video was taken on my favorite rock crawling trail in California, the Dusy Ershim trail. Watch how the tires "reach" for the rocks and the ground... this jeep is articulating through the obsticales.

if you are running 12.5 wide tires....but if you can find a set of tires that arnt too wide you will be alright
