Nice looking truck. I was wondering the same thing about why you went with a 3500 tailgate.

 

My truck is a '06 3500 and I don't have that light. I don't want one but just curious, is that a dually only thing?

my cousin had the tailgate off of his 06 dually and i went with it because my oe tailgate just had 4x4 slt on the lower right side and this one has dodge in nice big letters with heavy duty under it on the left hand side along with the 4x4 and slt on the right, plus it was free and i kinda like the running light in the middle of it once its smoked too, o yea and and its pretty unique with not having seen any other non dually trucks with it, thanks for your input

 

Looks good but time to debadge IMO.

 

I thought the same thing. Those heavy duty badges and DODGE emblems on the back look a little gaudy. I'm not so sure about that light on the tail gate either.
