Default Lookie what I found

Ok, we all know the crap we are being forced to get (E10/15) and how it makes MPGs worse. I understand the need for cleaner burning fuel and if thats really the case then dammit convert everything over to diesel or cooking oil or something else.

Around here the station went to a blend a long time ago but the BPs and Shells did not until here recently.

So the other day I was out of the city and found a station that says he doesnt blend. I asked him to make sure and he says he doesnt buy it because ppl are looking for 100% gas. Well that is true so I guess I found my new favorite station to buy gas from.

The station by my house sells the 100% stuff (only in 89 octane) and the way they get around it is by labeling it "Marine Fuel". Because as bad as ethanol sucks for MPG, that's nothing compared to how bad it will screw up a boat motor that's been sitting. The only problem is the gas station is charging about 30 cents a gallon more for it and I really don't know that any increase in MPG would offset the cost.

A 2mpg decrease in a vehicle that gets 27mpg! Jesus, I got 14 when I got my truck and since ethanol has taken over I get roughly 8-9. Plus it says it can damage the fuel system and aluminum parts, that's just dandy considering my intake manifold is aluminum.

I paid $2.29 this morning for regular unleaded....not too shabby. Of course, it is the E15 crap. But, what are you going to do?

Wow theres another reason im glad i live in canada all our gas is 100% except 2 brands wich have up to 10% ethanol even then they have to brand it to have additives i guess the emission laws are not as strict up here in the great white north than our southern brother...

Yea and what sucks is our current HNIC (no offense to anyone) the laws are prolly gonna get even more rediculous and more retarded than they already are.
