Hmm I thought all the bighorns had 3.92...your truck has 33s on it, and pulls them fine...35s you would be alright but definitely regear for the 37s...You can get Motive gears and a locker in a package too, going to be over 1k with install at a shop. Just gears would be cheaper though.

You could powdercoat your 20s to save some cash. Those KMCs look good though. And I think the trail grapplers are one of the better looking tires out, my buddy just bought some 35/12.5/20 for 1100

This is about what im wanting to do to my truck....im looking forward to seeing how it turns out

See i just dont think black wheels will look good on my truck....I want to get chrome wheels...Or even just keep the stock wheels and throw mud tires on them...However i just really dont wanna mess with the gearing in the rearend...I just want a good stance.....I was looking at those Bilstein adjustable shocks...Thinking about those and maybe something that totals up to around 34'' because i have less then a year after i get back from this deployment to my next deployment to afganistan...So it would be something new and nice until i get back again and do something different....

You should just do that then, I think it would look good. I think you could just put some 1.5 or 2.0" spacers on those wheels and it would look good. Where are you going to in Afghanistan? Are you a corpsman? I'm over here now, going on 5 years here in June.

Im currently in Iraq now with the 25th ID out of Hawaii. When i get back im leaving HI and heading to Ft.Bragg, NC....So in order to get Bragg i had to waive my dwell time. I'm hearing August time from. But im not sure where in buttcrackastan...But im a UH-60L crewchief / mechanic in the Army. So i would need to get a spacer to run factory wheels? Any spacers you would recommend?

Aah, ok I get the blackhawkdoc thing now. I did 8 years in the Marine Corps, and I've been with Blackwater for about 5 years now. I'm not sure if you would NEED spacers, but I've heard that before on other threads. I just think it would look good, I like the tires to stick out some, just my preference. I'm not sure where to get spacers, I'm sure anything made out of that 1061 stuff would be good.

Yeah i agree...When the tires stick out it just makes it look much more aggressive. See your color blue look good with black wheels...However a bright blue i dont know...I been looking and cutting and pasting rims to give myself a general idea...Sucks how expensive **** is...Makes me wonder how everyone affords all this stuff for there vehicle. I think its because my wife is a tight wad with money...She has a degree in finance...So shes all about having back up here and there and not having toys....She made me sell my motorcycle and is trying to get me to sell my fourwheeler.

Yeah man, I hear ya, my wife is kinda the same, I'm all about spending some money though. I guess when you do stuff like we do, you realize you could die any day, so enjoy life right!! I think it would look sweet though if you kept those wheels and do wheel spacers. You may be right about the black/chrome thing too. Chrome would be better, but you could pull off black if you blacked out all of your chrome. Maybe with the money you save from the wheels you could just do a full 6" suspension too. What kind of tires are you leaning towards?

Found these: Wheel Spacers

Spidertrax and Teraflex make some also, I think about $100 a pair is about the going rate.

Yeah im leaning toward going with a 33in Toyo M/T open country. I was reading up on those STS wheels but everyone says they're garbage. Its hard to decide because i want something beefy and bad *** looking. I found a set of 4 33in Toyo M/T for 1000 bucks...My wifes dad owns a dealership and gets tires and rims at wholesale prices but no beefy tires besides Cooper SST? or some mess like that...
