Default Level, Lift, Shocks, & Wheels/Tires

I just want to make sure i order the right components...

Daystar 2'' Level

3'' PA Body Lift

Bilstein (what type of bilstein would you recommend?)

KMC XD Monsters 18in

on 35x12.50R18

Keep in mind this is a 2008 Quadcab 1500 SLT 2WD Shortbed Bighorn.

Would i need new gears to run these type of tires? If so what gears would you recommend? The Bilstein ive heard alot of people say use the 2500 shocks? Any and all input on this is greatly greatly appriciated!

How much is all that stuff? You can get a 6" RC for like $999. What kind of tires are you going to get? 4.56s for sure!

I have a 2wd, 4.7L with a 6" RC with 33s. I've been VERY happy with my lift, and I haven't noticed much of a difference in power.

See tho your truck looks outstanding. You have the same wheels i want. What size are they? And what size tires and brand are those? If I could get that stand and that look then i would be tickled ****less...However im just tired of seeing those crappy factory tires on my truck.

Well see here's the thing...

2in Day Star - $89 bucks

3in body lift - $335

And i see so many tires i like yet i need something that i can drive on the roads and wont wear down to much. My wife's dad can get me wheels and tires at wholesale prices so i just got to get with him for his logins and order what i need. But where would you recommend buying these gears from? I have that lifetime warranty so thats another reason i dont wnat to mess with the suspension.

The wheels are a 20x10, and the tires are Super Swamper Iroks, 33/13.50R20. The tires are pretty loud on the street, and I doubt they'll last long. I see your point with the level and body lift, that's a lot cheaper. I would suggest, nitto trail grapplers, toyo mts DC fun country IIs. If you go with a 33, you could save some money on gearing too.

I really like those fun country II's....Its frustrating to do all this because i know theres so much that i know i would need to do but dont know how to go about doing it...Like changing the tires will throw off my MPH, I would imagine i would need to change out my shocks, i want a aggressive tire that sticks out. And you pick up alot of ideas on this forums but not everyone puts out exactly what all they had to do....I found one guys truck that i want my truck that same stance the same tires and the same wheels....Its the same 2wd year make and model as mine however hes running 35's in which i would really but i dont know **** about gears...I drove my chevelle SS when i first got it on the highway with 4:11 posi trac and popped the rear seal right out if that tells ya anything...Money was tight so i traded the 400turbo tranny w/ the 4:11 posi rear end for the guy to put me a new 350 turbo with 3:73 gears. Later on finding out i kinda got ripped...However i just dont know if i would be able to drive 4:56 gears on the highway or interstate.

Seems like a pretty good list. I have a 2" level, but no body lift....pretty much same truck as you....2008 QC 4.7. I have 17x9 wheels with 295/70 Nitto Terra Graps...they measure about 33.4". I also have 4.10s in the rear.....

I would like to do a BL soon though.....take lots of pics!!

BTW, for the mph thing, google for a tire size calculator.....you put in your stock size and the new size - it will tell you the differences in height, etc. and also the difference in the speedo....for example, with my new tires, I am actually going 3.1 mph faster than my speedo says....I also verified that with my GPS and it was dead on.
