Default What the #%&! is this?

OK, I was gonna install this thing this afternoon, but it's dark as sh*t outside and radar is showing heavy thunderstorms ALL around, so I'm gonna install it tomorrow morning.
In the meantime, I'm bored and have nothing to do, so we'll play a game.

What is it and what am I going to do with it?

First one to guess it, gets............................... nothing...

Well sh*t that didn't take long!!! Chase got it and wins...........nothing...LOL

I thought for sure I'd have to at least post pic #2 with a hint before someone got it:

There will be a DIY in the FAQ tomorrow, assuming there ain't no damn Florida thunderboomers. Should be time to install it and do all the wiring, the storms usually don't start till afternoon...

I actually found these totally by accident, while scouring the 'net for something else. Was only $14 shipped and just had to give one a try!!!
