Went from flowmaster single out to magnaflow dual out. So happy I did...nice deep growl without the drone. That said I like the cherry bomb vortex as well.

I would have to say though I am thinking about dynomatting the floor of the truck to keep out road noise/ drone but if I don't I wouldnt have a problem with it. I personally love the flowmaster and the only reason I may switch to a cherry bomb when this one goes out is for loudness, the louder the better. I love pissin off the neighbors lol. And whomever said make sure they tubes are mandrel bent is a saint, trust me you want that lol.
I have no muffler on my 4.7 and it sounds great

i got the magnaflow 3" inlet dual 2.5" outlet. when i bought my truck it had a raven muffler on it and the bottom started rusting so i ordered a magnaflow i believe its a 14" long muffler but anyways i love the sound of it not too many dodge guys have magnaflow around me i don't think because i haven't heard one that sound close to mine. soon gonna be doing headers and y pipe but in the process of building a cai.

What all did you eliminate with straight pipes?? Just the muffler? The cat(s)? I wanna make mine sound better but have very little $$$ to do it with. So want to make it sound decent as inexpensive as possible. I literally was thinking of drilling some holes in the muffler or tubing just to make it louder...but figured that may sound raspy or something

Magnaflow or be slow!!!! Cat back kits are well worth the little extra money over a rust prone aluminized non-mandrel bent custom job!!
