Looks good AF. Tint is one of the single most important aesthetic (sp) mods for any vehicle. That price doesnt seem too bad.....

Greg.... The window strip is legal down to the marks on the windshield, ASE maybe? Something like that. Anything below is a no no, this is coming from the guy who tinted mine. I wanted lower, but he wouldn't do it, I'm kinda glad now, haha (but he went darker than legal on the fronts....?)

 

I have heard that there are methods for removing factory tint AF, my brother has a denali that obviously had factory tint on all the back windows, and he got it all removed and matched perfectly... He is the one who told me to go that route.

 

Ha Ha we all had cool old hot rods because thats all there was. I remember reading in Hot Rod Magizine (the small hand book) that the new chevy V8 (265) would never work because the valve train was too complicated. They also stated the v8 was basically flawed because the pistons were at a angle. The only engines were flathead fords, so which of course I ran Stovebolts (chevy straight six). Later when I had a little money I ran oldsmobile 324/370 engines in my coupe. Hell I even had a late 40 Pachard straight 8 in a early roadster. Most all was totally junk, but what a good time. There was a few speed parts you could buy but mostly it was engine swaps and just making stuff fit.

 

Bear, yeah, my tint line is just a tad low. Cops haven't bothered me but the inspection stations have rejected it a couple of times.

Truck looks great. I just got mine tinted a week ago 20% and they charged me $80. Decided against the window strip, I like the stock blueish one thats already on there.

Look at your front windshield and you will see it printed there. Tinting is not suppose to go below it.
