Throttle body problem?
My truck died a couple of times yesterday so checked the obd, and posted the codes 2106 and 2108 this morning in another thread. Everyone recommended that I clean my throttle body really good.
Did that, and started it about 20 times in the shop. Let it idle for a bit, drove it around the block a few times, all good. But after driving about 4 miles, shut it off, and it wouldn't start for about 45 minutes. Got it back home, shut it off, and wouldn't restart again.
Now its about 4 hours later, starts right up. So I'm thinking the throttle body must be failing once the engine bay gets hot???? Anyone heard of this? Wheres the best place to get a new one? I dont really want to go to the stealership...

Would it shut them all down? This doesn't sound consistent with what I've read up on this board.
In a couple of my other posts I mentioned the ETC light flashing, which usually points to the TB I thought..
Any other ideas?

This could be the problem if you have the 3.9, 5.2 or the 5.9 due to having a single ignition coil. If you have the 4.7 with multiple coils, this would not pertain to your engine. That's why I said "depending on year model and engine".
