Black Magic 180 extreme (e-fan) should mount up nice, I found best price at Moe's. Programmer, not sure as your truck is 2nd Gen, maybe moderator could move this over there for you as you would maybe get better replies. Good luck.

Da, ya Ok, my mistake, So you mentioned 04 in your post which I missed cause was looking at your 01 Ram Title. Programmers well that is up for discussion if you own an 03, join the 03 forgottens and check the discussion thread, either SC 3865 or DSP depending on what your longterm mod plans are especially if you want to run an aggressive cam.

Lets not forget the Taurus e-fans out there that everyone loves. They are cheap and work really well also. Ive got one on mine and have no cooling issues.

Yep, apparently the Taurus fan or a Mark VIII fan pulls easily enough air to cool the dilithium crystals.

No matter what you do, a 5.7 engine will suck on MPG.

Typically you'll actually lose mileage by switching to an eco tune. Most of the performance tunes on the programmers get more power (obviously) AND better mpgs than the economy tunes on them. What is your current programmer?

I also have the Taurus e-fan and love it. Easy mod and for under $100 including the variable controller, you cant beat it bang for the buck wise
