Yeah, I think I'll order the 6.1 cam. It's not that much money and it's not like I wont use it at SOME point, even if I, for some reason, can't do this with nick.

but yeah, I don't have gears either, just the 3.92s I believe hammer told me cuz my truck has the tow package or something. (I kno i can just check in the glove box or whatev, but the sticker was gone>.< lol) so if that's the only performance mod he has besides the SC I should be doin it no prob haha. Minus the shell and quad cab weight.

brett u can also go to interiamotorsports.com and email 392stu and see if they have a 6.1 cam that they will reground. that will say time for you trying to buy one.

 

just scored 16 new in box 6.1 springs and rods for 70 shipped!! I cant believe this is coming together. only 4 more months

You still getting headers as well? If so you can pull the heads at the same time as the cam install and get everything torqued down and good to go on a bench instead of killing yourself under the truck doing them
