instrument cluster crack

Default instrument cluster crack

I have a crack in the instrument cluster cover right in front of the PRND21 any tips on how to stop it from spreading and is it a part i can get without getting an entire cluster? gonna stop by the wrecker next week.

you could try putting clear tape over it to prevent more spreading, and yes the cover unbolts from the cluster.

sooooo i just asked the stealership what just the plastic peiece is worth and the guy said $116 hahah and the wreckers here don't have any rams (small town)
any one wanna pick and pull and ship it to me lol i'm in Gananoque Ontario Canada

take the smallest drill bit you have and drill a hole at both ends of the crack, then take you some clear nail polish and paint the crack. It'll never spread and if you're good with the nail polish, you'll barely see the crack...

should i take the cluster out or can i do it in the truck, i'm planning the led conversion anyways so its gonna come out later on

lol that would be my luck... just today 2 more crack started in different spots, i must have damaged it cleaning or something and they are starting to show past the bezel.
