Lifting a 2WD
You can keep your 1.5 spacers on the front w/ the 4" spindle lift (I don't know if you will need brake lines..)
A lift spindle only changes the height of the front. typically, lift blocks are used in the rear to match the lift of the spindles.
you can do 35x12.5 on the 4" spindle lift kit (incl rear spacers) alone.
The rough country 3" lift is coils (higher spring rate, not much longer) and longer shocks for the front. The rear is 1.5" spacer blocks. You can call them I believe and "customize" your lift. So if you just want to level it, you can order the springs and shocks without the rear lift blocks.
After installing my Rough Country 3" lift, my front fender was only 2" higher.
My 315/70R17 tires (34.4"X12.5) rub on the sway/torsion bar up front at full lock. So, for me, no amount of lift will fix this. I belive its because of excessive wear on some of my suspension components that allow my wheels to turn further than they should to full lock.
Do some more searching/reading. Also take a peek under your truck and look at the suspension components. This will help in your understanding of the different lifts available. Weedahoe has a massive amount of pictures that will help, also. Do a search for him and click on the link in his sig. Or just wait. I'm sure he'll be posting here soon

If you are gonna do Pro Comp shocks, don't do the ES3000s. I have them on my Grand Cherokee and they are decent. Not great, but for $37.99 each AND on a special buy 3 get one free netted them to $28.50 a shock I can't complain.
But my GC weighs about 1100 lbs less than a 4x2 QC Ram and these shocks are hydrogen filled. You'd want to step up to a nitrogen shock as N2 is more dense of a gas than H2.
In that price range is the ES9000 which is not a bad shock for the money... Not a Bilstein or a Rancho 9000X like I have on my truck, but not near $100 a shock either...

You don't want to run 35's without at least a 6" lift. Even then, they'll look stuffed on a 2wd. Don't just buy the spindles, it's much easier to just buy a kit. It comes with everything you need in the box for the front and back. (spindles, shocks, rear blocks, etc.) Look at PYRO's truck or even Brock like they both have. 6" lift with 33's are good for the 2wd's. If you get a suspension kit and put the spacer back in, your front WILL sit higher than the back so I would ditch it if you get a suspension kit. But that's my opinion. I have the 2" coils from RC and it leveled out just fine.
JMAXX, the reason your tires are rubbing probably isn't all due to worn out suspension. You have a 12.5" wide tire on factory rims. You either need spacers for the rims or to get a rim with backspacing. Something like 4.5" would bring them out and you won't rub anymore.
