bigger gears?
I am hoping to have a 6" fabtech lift installed on my 2005 hemi, accompanying the lift will be 35" tires (12.5" wide) on 20" rockstar wheels. Will I need to Beef up the rear end? Also, I know that i am going to lose some power doing this so what are some good mods that will help me gain some MPG's and not affect the reliability of my RAM?
what kind of gearing do you have right now?.... I have 3:92 and the gears turn the the 35" tires just fine. I bought a superchip and have a homebrew CAI...and its feels like more power now then what i had before running 305 70 20's.
So basically the big 3 will help.. a Tuner, intake and exhaust.. thats my next mod step gotta get my self a good sounding muffler and y-pipe!

NOT a big fan of the Fabtech lift for IFS torsion front 4x4s! There is a reason it's the cheapest one on the market.
For the best balance of power and fuel economy 4.10s for 33s and 4.56s for 35s...

Yes, but not enough to justify the cost, IMO...
so what kind of milage do you get with 35" tires and 4.56? i always thought you only needed 4.56s for 37" and higher? i learned something new today! lol
Thanks Hammer, I'll prob just put a better locker in there like a DTT.
I seen this AAM LOADED POSI CARRIER for 10.5" Rear Axle, ACCEPTS ALL RATIO'S, http://moesperformance.com/index.php...oducts_id=9417

OP is your rig 2wd ???
You don't NEED 4.56s for 35s or 37s for that matter, they just give you a mechanical advantage.
Hell I thought my truck had plenty of power with 3.92s and 35s UNTIL I got 4.56s...

Hammer i thought my pictures disproved your theory about Fabtechs giving horrible CV angles. They are nearly flat. And on other forums Fabtech is rated extremely high. Seems this forum doesnt like Fabtech because, well...you dont, and you have a strong following
