Those sub sections would be more active if the proper threads were put there in the first place. Most people come to the tech section with truck related problems not complete aftermarket stereo builds and such. Thus the reason for the separate forums to begin with. Take a look around the main forum page. There are many specialty forums for non tech stuff.

Perhaps the pages could be titled something different. There is not a "Tech related section". The "3rd Gen Section" doesnt have tech anywhere in it. Seems to me like 3rd Gen Ram encompasses anything to do with a 3rd Gen Ram. My audio build should go in the Audio section obviously, but it absolutely belongs in 3rd Gen as well because it involves a 3rd Gen truck. See my point?

yea its kinda split down the middle, AF...but so far, picture wise and all that, it matches the 3rd gen more than audio....

It encompasses everything because guys post up anything and everything and don't go anywhere else. I would love to drop the 3rd gen specific and start the Tech areas with suspension/intake/etc, but the problem is there are too many diff types of Rams and vehicles for that matter to keep it sorted and clean.
Just because you apply sound solution to your ride doesn't mean it belongs in the 3rd Gen tech section. No the section isn't tech named, but I was told only Tech related articles that are vehicle specific are allowed.

Unfortunatley, there aint nothing your doing to your truck or that you had posted up that is specific to the Rams technical side. Damping material and speakers are common in all vehicles and therefore belongs over in the audio area. There was no vehicle specific questions or vehicle specific informative info generated, just the...This is what i am doing and I'm not done yet type stuff.

Look AF, when you get EVERYTHING done, gather up all your pics and info and put a single thread in the 3rd gen tech section if you want, but this business about dragging on a post out for a few weeks that is non-tech related was the deciding factor that got it moved.
If it was an engine build you kept updating then fine, but it's not. Update it over in the audio area and then post up a final thread over here once your are finally done..if you want.
