How long do you think a 100 rating tire would last? Say 80k miles?

Most 80K mile tires are 400+. Just remember it is all give in take. The softer a compound is the better it handles, the harder a compound the longer its life. I usually get a A/B tire for traction/temp respectively. I let the miles take care of themselves as tires are one of the cheapest investments per mile. Gas being the most expensive.
