Default how to get better gas mileage

part of me regrets getting a dodge because the gas mileage is so low. if im pulling my trailer, even with no weight in it, i am lucky to get 11 mpg on the highway. the trailer has sides on it so it does create wind resistance, without them i am still only getting 13 on the highway, using curse.

what do you think?

not pulling anything i get 11.5ish in town and 17 on highway IF i take off REAL SLOW

the hydrogen cars that use electric engines are pretty nice. dono if honda will put it into production though. the exost is pure water. but that wont help me pull dirt rocks and equipment.

Short answer- Nothing you do will make a significant increase. You might see 2-4 with a tuner, cai, and exhaust.

Long explanation:
The most important thing about gas mileage isn't what you drive its HOW you drive. Keep the revs low while accelerating and you'll maximize your mileage. Top Gear did this on an episode once where they took a Prius and an Audi A3 and had the A3 follow the Prius at the Prius' maximum which meant the A3 wasn't even panting yet and the Prius ran out of gas way before the A3 did. Now I'm sure the Prius has a smaller tank and we know the Prius isn't made to go 80 mph but it shows that how you drive is more important than what you drive when it comes to mpg.
