Default Brake/ABS Indicator Light Difficulty

I just recently changed the Speed/ABS sensor in my 2002 Quadcab. It fixed the speedometer problem, but has introduced a new problem. When I start driving, the Brake and ABS indictor lights are off. Once I get to approximately 50 to 55 mph, the indicator lights turn on. The dealership told me they wanted to replace the tone ring in the differential (for the small fee of $1650.00). I looked at the ring and it was fine. I had them check the codes and when you turn off the engine, it erases the codes. Any ideas???

Koz,
I would recomend downloading the 02 manual and start doing a little searching. I am in the middle of doing the same thing as I have a flashing ABS light. Yours could be as simple as having low brake fluid level. Good luck..
