I've actually heard that 5.9 in front of a borla and it do sound mean as hell. I just can't fease the price that they want for them considering that I like the sound of a cherry bomb better and that they are relatively cheap compared to other brands out there.

Go for it I say.

Thanks Truckin.

Steve I have a dual Borla setup. I choose Borla because I wantd a performance muffler what wouldn't rumble until I got on it hard.

I have the Borla XS Pro on my 4.7 and it is a little mellow until you get on it. If your looking for loud than my opinion is you will need something else. My Victory motorcycle is a lot louder and has 2 mufflers on it. Just my opinion.

Thank you, I'm proud of it. I also have JBA Headers and Spintech hi-flow cats. Here is a video of a 4.6L V8 Hyundai with the same muffler I have.

WOT is where the borla really shines, at idle its a nice light rumble but under heavy throttle its just so damn nice. My old setup was the borla off of a daytona and it was the same way however the XR-1 is just so much sweeter.

This is the one I got for mine:

It is pricey but IMO WAY worth it

Truckin's right....the XR-1 is definitely worth the price. I absolutely love the way mine sounds and the only time I'd ever switch it out would be for headers and a true dual with dual XR-1's, I can't even imagine how nasty that would sound.

I think I may go with the round size though, I want to be on the louder side still and then really sound nice when I push the pedal..
