Will be looking into a new muffler eventually and I am thinking about a Borla. Anyone have a Borla on their truck, especially on a 4.7? I'm looking for something that has a throaty sound and a bit on the louder side so it will grab your attention. Like I said, I'm leaning towards a Borla. I've had a FM 40 series on for almost three years now.

 

I have a few vids around on here of my borla xr1. I think blown287 has a dual borla setup on his dakota. And Doc over in the 4th gen section has or had one on his truck a while ago.

 

How do you like your borla? Do you have a hemi?

 

Yes i have a hemi and i absolutely love the way mine sounds.

 

Consistently get good reviews, good CFM rate, I'd say it's a solid investment...

 

Hmm..I'll start trying to find some youtube vids of the 4.7's with them. It's so hard to judge these sound clips in videos too lol

 

pm Blown287 his is a 4.7 and see if he still has a borla on it.

There is a pretty current thread in the 3rd Gen Dakota section about "best muffler" I believe Blown has a video of his exhaust in already...
