Default I think I made a mistake

I went to add some coolant the other day so I picked up a bottle of Polar Antifreeze/coolant since it was spec. for MS 7170 and It was the only thing left in stock. Well come to find out apparantly Chrysler has a MS 9769 so I looked at the manual real quick to see what it said and all it gives is the Mopar stuff so I've got no idea if what I put in was alright or not. Do I need to flush the system or am I safe? If I need to flush and replace the Prestone 50/50 is what I need, correct?

Yeah, the green stuff MS 7170 is good up to 2001 year or so they reccomend...
Look HERE

I don't see running it for a little while an issue, but you may want to drain/fill with the correct stuff eventually.
You want the HOAT type stuff....

Basically the chemical makeup is the same. Running the green stuff too long will breakdown the metalurgical Makeup of the motor. and radiator.Because of the increased use of aluminum in both the motor and radiator it will increase oxidation and will affect the cooling capacities. But this takes month's to happen. Flush at your earliest convenience. As stated above. No worries if taken care of and not forgotten.

p.s. Where I work they gave a class on such instances,b/c they offer both brands of antifreeze, due too the fleet is not all that up to date. And drivers are required too fill there respective vehicles.
