Default exhaust help

i have a 4.7 liter dodge ram 1500 4x4. i want a loud and aggressive sounding exhaust. what should i go with? flowmaster, cherry bomb extreme, or straight pipes? remember i want a loud, aggressive, and a "head turning" sound. thanks for your help...

and one more question... would it help with the placement of my pipes at the rear for the sound? straight out, at an angle... anything feedback would be great!

Go with a cherry bomb extreme or straights if you want loud. I like my pipes ran out the corner with turn downs. You can hear them way better at the corner rather than straight out the back. Just have to watch for the popo

I also had a 4.7l and all I did was removed the muffler and it sounded real nice, I always got a lot of compliments on it.

I agree with weedahoe. Before I put my Magnaflow on, I rode for about a week with the muffler and piping removed. It sounded great but had a lot of in cab noise as well, but did get a lot of attention and I became very conscious of it when driving through a neighborhood at night/early morning. A cut out would give a good balance of loud and aggressive when you want it, and quit when you want to sneak around, or have a headache lol.

Exactly. Loud when you want it and quiet when you want it. With my current exhaust it is either loud or louder. There is no quiet and sometimes I miss that.
