How about cutting the mods some slack?
I am seeing a lot of whining about our mods doing their jobs.
Moving threads to their appropriate sections is part of what our mods do. Giving our mods crap for doing their jobs is silly.
Threads wouldnt need to be moved if they were in the right spot. There is an off topic thread in this section, and an entire section devoted to just that type of chatter.
I dont want to have to start handing out time outs, but we cant have the moderators catching crap for doing what they volunteer to do. Our mods arent perfect, they will miss threads that need to be moved. Instead of complaining about not getting away with breaking the rules, help out your section mods by reporting threads that also break rules.
Keep the off topic (non technical) threads in the off topic section or in the off topic thread in this section, and threads wont need to be moved at all.
If anyone has a problem with how a section mod is doing their job, please come to me or any admin via PM. We will take care of the situation.

In my opinion, it should either be all or none. Either move everything, or dont move anything. Allowing some stuff to slide and other stuff not to shows favoritism whether the mods think so or not.

I'm not on here much, but when I am I go at least 4 pages back to see what I have missed and you do see a good hand full of threads that are way off topic. I'd have to say I'm with AF on this move them all or non at all. Yes it is hard to catch all of them all, just go 2 pages back the first page isn't the only page.

I'm not sure exactly what's going on in this case, but when I was watching over the section I certainly missed threads. I would sometimes get PMs from people saying 'you didn't delete/move/block this other thread'...and then I would move it. the only thing the whining accomplished was getting another 'fun' thread locked. I was surprised how much whining there is in a forum filled with tough guy truck owners
