I actually just put a set of those recon lights in today in a customers Ram.. They looked cool but werent as bright as HIDs. So IMO i'd say HID's are better.

how bright are your 10000k lights do you have a pic hey where did you put that horn under the bed

I'll see if i can get some pics posted for you. but the 10000k are about 3 times brighter than stock lights. I love them. And i mounted the horn in the huge space behind the front bumper.

so is 6000k more blue or is 10000 more blue hey you get pics of the horn too

no 10000k is more blue. 6000k is more white. The higher the kelvin the deeper the color. They really dont look very blue in the picture but in real life they are. I do have a pic but it was takin at night. here it is. Sorry for the quality it was takin on my crappy blackberry.

btw 6000k-8000k is a better HID. its a cool blue/iceburg blue. and its more usuable light

Get yourself the looks of the Recon headlights and upgrade or use a HIDextra kit

And if you don't want to then yes, HIDextra kits are brighter.
