to reset the oil change lite you turn the key to the run position engine off and press the gas pedal 3 or 4 times it tells you how to do it in your manual. Im to lazy to go look at the manual right now myself .

random question for you guys with these intakes...any of you with newer models run into issues with warranty stuff from the dealer? My buddy has a K&N and he is worried that its going to void his warranty on the truck...i'm thinking of getting an intake for mine in the next month or so, so i've been looking around on here to see what everyone's got.

The parts guy at the dealership I deal with told me it wouldn't, and the salesman that helped me said thats always the first thing he does when he gets a new truck.

Even if a dealer tells you it would void your warranty, the Magnuson/Moss Act forbids them to decline warranty service UNLESS they can prove the modified component directly caused the issue. Stealerships love BS'ing people who don't know what their rights are...

Hammer, thats great info thank you, but probably bad for me at the same time, cause now I'm just going to be more apt to spend money on mods
