Default 305 40 22; Hankook or Nitto

so im in desperate need of some new shoes. i bought my wheels/tires for $700 in Jan. the tires wore worn, and 2 had plugs. theyve done good so far, but the rear drivers side needs air every 2 days and the tread is disapearing. i drive alot so im gonna need somthing that will last.
i usually stay on pavement, but lightly travel on gravel a few times a year (parking, driveways, etc.) right now, due to overbudgeting on guns, i can only afford 1-2 tires at this time. but expect to have a full set by the end of summer.
any reccomendations other than the brands i have listed? i currently ride on 305 40 22 Hankook Ventus ST. theyre feel good to me and havent had a problem other than slow air leak.

So are you looking for A/Ts or just street tires?

I would say Nittos are more reputable but I havent heard anything bad about Hankook either. Just keep in mind the Pres but a import tax on those tires not made in the US which could make the prices on them higher.

Here's a great site for Nitto tires imo.

http://4wheelonline.com/Nitto-NT420S....137942.464199

Not exactly the cheapest, but after free shipping. It becomes a competitor in pricing.

I have the coopers too. I love them and the traction is great. I have had them for two years.

nittos lasted me over 50,000 miles on my 1/2 ton silverado.
On my 3/4 ton dodge they are doing well so far. I have about 22,000 on them so far and are about half worn.
My vote goes for nittos

lookin for a street tire. i hate/avoid takin my rig "off road". and id want somthing quiet. so no all terrains.

the only reason Hankook is a brand of choice, bc they came with the wheels i bought. didnt have much tread, and theyre holding up nice til i get some replacements. and they grip these mountain valley curvy roads good.

my driving conditions look like; curvy roads, hills, pavement, hardly any gravel, unless its a driveway or parking lot. i try and avoid dirt roads now days. do alot of highway/interstate travel.

just lookin for a nice, quality tire, that lasts.

Thanks guys.
