i have fallen prey to a diesel ram on the strip...a 4wd, smoked all four tires....diesel, with stacks, i knew soemthing was wrong wheni launched and when i went to second gear he came around me with thick black smoke pouring from the stacks...he ran a 11.80 to my 12.70...[:@]

 

I dont mind getting beat, it makes me try harder the next time....lol............

Funny, cause I almost bought a Titan Crew Cab LE. Man, my wife freaked out cause the bed was so short (Her family has over 500 acres of farm land and she grew up around trucks. She actually was really pushing me to get a REAL truck (Ford, Chevy, Dodge)). After owning my Hemi Ram for almost a month, I'm glad that I chose it, although the Titan had a wayyy smoother ride! The bed was the final factor for me in choosing between the Titan and the Ram. The Titan's bed just wasn't practical enough for what I needed, even with the bed extender gimmick(which would always be down). The interior space was larger on the Titan which was great but that will be resolved with the "it's gotta grow on me styling" of the MEGA CAB!

 

Homerun, you think diesels are slow?? I'd like to show you what a diesel can do. My truck is stock. It probably still beat your little titan. If you are ever in VA, let me know and you can see what a "slow diesel" can do. I'm sure Drew would oblidge you too although I'm not sure where he's located.

 

yea, a 50hp shot will do alot for any engine, but you can only run it so long

just a simple timeing/duration box will give the cummins 140hp on the high setting and 70hp on the low and that can be run untill the fuel tank runs dry[8D]
stack that timeing box with a pressure/boost box and were talking well over 200 extra hp all for right at a grand.

I also almost bought a Titan, but I'm glad I chose Dodge. Much more truck for the money and I felt that money should stay in the States.

MAN, I can't believe this thread is still going, haha. Speaking of Titans, you don't find many down here on the border, but some new guy on base must be having truck-envy cause he keeps parking right next to me. Think I could take an "extended cab" titan?
