Default 4 plug ecm, Did Dodge change computers in late 03?

Looking at my ecm (pcm? not sure, but the computer against the back of the engine bay) Had 4 plugs, not 3. Am I correct in thinking that this is the newer version of the computer like the 04-05?

My question is, do I have an 04 or an 03 pcm if it has 4 plugs? I can't quite remember and after extensive searching I can't find an answer

3 plug controllers were JTEC
4 plug controllers were NGC
you have the newer controller.

As said before, that is a NGC I/II controller with the TCM built inside. Now you should know if you have an 03 or 04

What is the 10th digit in your VIN. That will tell you what year it is.

According to the build sheet in the glovebox, the 10th VIN number is 3
Is there a place on the body I can check it? I took a quick look but didn't find it

You can look at the label on the drivers side door as well as the drivers side corner of the dash by the windshield. There are other places but those are not as easy to get to and read

VIN is consistent throughout, it is an 03. Maybe since the Hemi was introduced in late 03 in Canada we got the newer electronics? Does the 04 have the dual cats? Mine does not

Most '03 Hemi trucks have the newer 4-plug controller. Chrysler updates their components when the supply is available and not when the model year changes. This is why the aftermarket loves Chrysler so much with almost every truck being unique part # wise.

The 04 does have two cats whereas the 03 has one
