So, I have a 2006 Ram, its the Lone Star.. but its got some weird options..

It has woodgrain in the dash and door, but its not a Laramie, no leather. It has Sirius Radio.. And it has the underhood blanket, and all the extra blanketing in the engine bay.

Non Laramie, just an SLT...

Is this normal?

 

it kind of depends what region your in.... as far i can find in texas the "Lonestar edition" is the same as a bighorn edition and the same as the Thunder road edition and yes all they are is dressed up SLT, with a few interior, exterior options with the 3:92 LSD diffs

 

Sounds like the exact same options my 06 big horn has... except I have no idea about the underhood blankets.

 

Yeah, the underhood blanket is weird. Every other dodge didnt have one, they had a 2005, mine, a couple of 2007s. Mine doesnt have an underhood light, just the blanket. who knows.

I have the light and underhood blanket. The blanket is designed to drop onto the engine if there is an engine fire, to help snuff it out.

 

I think my truck is optioned wierd also. It's an '06 NightRunner, which is suppose to be a sporty truck, but it came from the factory with the big dorky trailer tow mirrors.

My 06 SLT mega came with the blanket and no hood light as well :-/ ripped off the blanket tho after my belt blew an ripped it in half lol.

My dad has on 07 lonestar edition with the hemi. and im not sure about the gear ratio but im almost positive it dosent have LSD.
