Can I do it??
This is my 1st post I want ot say hey to all.One of my buddies just got him a F-250 and he is wanting to hook our trucks up to see which one would pull eachother. He has a F-250 4x4 5.4 crew cab with 285/75/16 a/t on it and I got a 2500 4x4 5.7 Hemi crew cab with 285/70/17 on mine do you think he could pull me or will I pull him. Thanks
OOOO OOOOO OOOOOO can I. . . PLEASE CAN I drag him around. . . .pretty please. [8D]
anyway. . that 5.4 in my eyes has no *****. put your truck in 4L and ease into the throttle. you'll be spinning the tires but you'll prolly drag him.
edit: if you realy want to show off try a sled pulling contest and start at 10K#

If we do hook up we are going to do it on the dirt I am not going to hook to him on the pavement.Dirt does give alittle, you hook up on the pavement you are going to brake something. Thanks for the reply
You're joking, right?
I once saw a bunch of people nearly killed when the tie-line broke doing this. If you're intent, are you going to make sure the trucks are of equal weight and distribution, equal gearing, same tires, etc. Or, why bother?
All the best and be careful!

YOU CAN DO IT! BUT PLEASE DON'T USE A CHAIN. IF IT SNAPS, THE LOOSE END COULD COME THROUGH THE BACK OF YOUR CAB OR YOUR FRIENDS. USE A ****** STRAP WITH LOOPS--NO HOOKS. I NEARLY GOT MY HEAD TAKEN OFF THIS WAY A LONG LONG TIME AGO!
