Default Injector connector?

Hello everybody.

This may be a dumb question, but i try anyway since i cant find anything about it online.

I was wondering what fuel injector connector i have (belive its Bosh EV6) and where its located.
My local workshop dident know since i dont have a norwegian word for it, so im asking here.

Its a Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi 5.7 MDS 2006 Sport.

Thanks

Im not sure I follow you. Are you talking about the connector on top of the injectors themselves? What exactly are you trying to do by the way? Replace? Repair? Modify?

The injector connector is a certain style and will only allow a specific plug to be used. Are you buying new injectors?

Where it's located?? That would be the injector themselves and are mounted on the intake. If you are refferring to the schrader valve, that is like a tire valve where you can check for pressure or tap it for service. That would be mounted on the fuel rail on either side of the engine. I dont remember which but there should be a cap on it like what's on your tire valve stems..

Thanks for answering.

Well i'm not quite sure myself since i am not a mechanic, but i got a question what type of and i quote "injectors" in my car.
My care is going in for repares and the workshop was wondering since it was not spesified in anything they could find. I dont know what type of repears yet, but it was related to some parts they needed to order.

The shop is also far away so i cant drive to them so they can check.
The workshop belived it was Bosh EV6 connectors, but wanted me to check to be sure.

Thanks again!.

Thats fine and I can get part numbers and such but need to know if you need the actual injector electrical connectors itself or injectors.

What was going on with the truck that you had it put in the shop?

Thank you weedahoe.

The reason its going in to the shop is a strange noice is comming from the engine and its not stable in its RPM. So its a little strange to drive (do not have a good english word for it). The engine is not calm if you know what i mean. After the engine started like that it has also stardet to shift gears real strange. Sometime fast and sometime slow. Therefore i desided to put it in the shop for a regulare service where they also check this new issues. Why they need to know what injector connector it is i dont know.
You said "injector electrical connectors" It sounds like that.

Sorry for not making myself clear enough, but my english is not very good.

Thanks again :-).

I understand what you are saying and trying to get across. Sometimes when then engine is running right (we call it "idling") it will jump and shudder and run rough, it can be that the throttle body needs cleaning or some guys say the EGR valve gets clogged.

Hmm, jea that may be.
When idling the engine is fine, but when i start to drive its as you put it "rough". The EGR valve is 6 months old, but it could be. I tried to disconnect the - pole on the battery and connected it again after 10 min so that the PCM could reset. After that its a blast to drive and everything is ok, but after a couple of miles (guess 60km or so) it start to go bad again.

Thanks again :-).

Did you have any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) or Check Engine Lights (CELs)

No, there is no errorcode on the car. OBD is also not showing any error code.
