i recently had a run in with the abs light, brake light, and speedometer not working. the codes were coming up with speed sensore and unable to communicate with abs module. it wound up being a 15A fuse in the main fuse block that dodge has labled as "spare" it was burned out.
Gotta love those "spare" fuses, LOL.
Had a trailer light problem with a Cheby Z71 where there were no running lights at all on the trailer. Checked wiring harness, all fuses the manual had for anything to do with trailer connector. Very common for a fuse to blow when you submerge a boat trailer. Re-wired the whole damn trailer the day before having to drive 110 miles to a bass tourney with NO success.
Ended up taking my ex's Grand Cherokee to trailer the boat to/from the tourney.
Couple days later I started just pulling fuses and checking them and one marked "spare" was blown. Replaced it and VIOLA! had trailer lights...
