Default E-fan install help and pics?

Hey guys,

I have all the major parts (fan, controller) for my e-fan install I intend to do tomorrow, I'm just looking for an idea of some other parts I might need such as screws, nuts, bolts, misc. tools and I'm looking to see if anyone has pics of their e-fan install just so I can get an idea of how it's supposed to look. It's probably not that hard of a DIY but I'm trying to make sure I have everything before I get halfway through and find out I am missing something.

Are you using a kit, or gathered-up parts? It is an easy install, but the right tools are a must. I don't remember needing anything "special" except the spanner to get the mechanical fan off - that was a PITA!!!

Spanner was the only thing I didn't get. I just got back from Lowes and got all the bolts, nuts, washers, wiring stuff. I just forgot the spanner wrench.

It isn't necessary, but it can turn a major aggravation into a piece of cake. Removing the old fan is the hardest part.

I'm having a really hard time picturing this thing and I'm not able to find it on Lowes or Advance Autos websites. Does someone have a picture so I can reference?

Also, which wires are what on the taurus fan? There's a black one, brown/yellow, and brown/orange. I've been trying to figure out the ground wire and low speed wire before I hook it all up.

On the fan:

The black wire is ground

The brown wire with a yellow stripe is the high speed

The brown wire with an orange stripe is the low speed
