Default Lift kit ordered, question on rims!!!

Hey guys I just ordered a 6" RCD lift for my truck and am planning to install it this weekend. I'm also getting new rims and tires, I am looking at the Dick Cepek Mud Country tires with the Dick Cepek DC-2 rims. For the lift it says that I can run 35x12.50R17 tires with 17" & wider x 8" rims with a 4.5" backspacing. The rims I'm looking at are:
-12mm offset
4.56" backspacing
and are a 17"x9" on 35x12.50R17

Will these fit? And will I get the look where the tires stick out further than the body? and if so.. how extreme?

Thanks guys!

most people im pretty sure can fit 35's stock with a leveling kit so with 6 inches i can imagine you can go bigger.
but 35's will look nice.
what gearing do you have?

that should all in the end be a sweet setup!
be sure to post pictures!

Yeah thats what I don't quite understand.. I have my T-Bars cranked up to level now and I think I could clear 35"s just fine. I am running 3.92s (stock, on my model at least) but I'm afraid 37"s would just be too much tire. And the lift only raises the back 4".. is that really considred a 6" kit then if it raises the front 6" and the back 4"?

RCD isn't the RCX lift, it's put out by Race Car Dynamics, The kit looked to be of a really high quality and I found a good deal on it, I ended up getting it brand new for $2000 shipped to my door. Havn't heard any reviews on the lift yet but it looks like a really nice kit.

I wouldnt go bigger than 35's. 37 is a lot of tire for the poor ifs.

tons of people do 37s with that lift, and it would stress your front end a lil more but it would look great!

and $2000 is alot for a 6in lift, you could have gotten one quite a bit cheaper

im sure it will look great tho

The skyjacker lift was $2400 and about the only ones I seen cheaper were only 4" kits (by like Rancho) and the Rough Country lift was like $1200. I wanted the quality of like Fabtech or Skyjacker but I found the RCD which I really liked and had considered buying it for my old truck. I'm just not sure why they say to run such small tires.. 33"s is the reccomended size which is stock! and it says minor trimming for 35"s yet the rough country and skyjacker say 37"s. Idk but 35"s are what I'm gonna go with. I just hope I get the tires out from under the truck a bit.
