I ordered cooper stt 33 1250 17 and fuel hostage wheels, getting them mounted Tuesday, I was going to get the dc mc but I didn't like the white lettering.

I was playing golf today with a guy with a late '90s lifted Dakota with 33" STTs on it. Looked really nice. He says he loves the performance in the mud, kinda loud (but he liked that feature) and it handles well on pavement for such an aggressive tread. His only complaint was this was his second set as he wore the first set out in 30,000 miles.
But that's not terrible for a M/T...

Why not do a proper leveling kit? It makes the truck look so much better. I don't think you end up cranking the torsion bars for that do you?

i'm not sure, i think a torsion key or cranking the torsion bars is the only way to go, unless a body lift or suspension lift
