my door ajar light is constantly on, i have an 03 ram 1500 hemi, iv been messin with it for a while now and found out it was the wires in the back left door. is there a wire i can snip for an easy fix or do i gotta get a whole new wiring harness or latch?

The door ajar switch is located inside and a part of the actuator and latching assembly. It must be replaced as a whole unit. The only other thing you could have is a broken wire in the door or wire loom.

 

Sometimes the switch gets sticky and you can spray the latch assembly good with wd-40 and it will fix it. Worth a shot before spending a bunch of cash.
