new to the forum..V6 mod advice
Hey everyone this weekend i traded my 99 f250 sd for a 2004 ram 1500 2wd reg cab short box with the 3.7(i know a small engine) and was wondering if there were any performance mods to get for it. The plans currently are catback exhaust, cold air intake, and a shackle lowering kit. The will get picks soon and i have a question about the stripe on the back i think the PO put them on back words but who knows, hopefully pics tomorrow

There is nothing wrong with the 3.7, it's a good little engine (I have one too). You should join the 3.7 club on here...there are a few of us in there and you'll get lots of good help with your truck...

There is very little performance you can do for a 3.7
The word "performance" and "3.7" really do not go together. If you wanted a smaller engine for better mileage or whatever reason, you should have gotten it in a lighter truck.
But other than a CAI, Sonnax booster, Powerwire and gears, I dont think there is anything else. Honestly though, I would not waste the money on gears and installation cost of them because that truck will never go fast in a short distance.

I don't know, it doesn't look right. As for performance there are a few things you can do, most of them I've done and they're in my sig. Sean aka hemifever should be able to do a custom tune for your truck, he's written me a few tunes for mine already. Is your truck a manual or auto?
