You don't need one... just look at the bolts holding your existing shocks on. Remove them, re-use the bolts, nuts and bushings... it's easier than changing your oil on a torsion front. No spring to mess with...

Default Wtf!

holycrap! I had my leveling kit installed before i even drove my truck. i was in iraq and ordered it from tire rack and had it sent to my house, my wife brought it to a tire rack approved shop and they installed it. so i get home start driving it and realize the shocks feel like they may not be tall enough? so i call the maker of the leveling kit and they say nope stock shocks are what u want to run! so i eventually replace them with..... stockers and i just learned i had the wrong ones in the whole time! damn i have to buy some shocks, i bet my truck is going to ride a lot better now. i tell u i have learned more about my truck in the past weeks than i ever knew about it. thanks for the good tips and info. mike

yeah man I knew I needed longer shocks but when I was being told no I don't use stock I busted out my phone and searched the forum for threads on replacing with longer shocks. I found some the reviews on procomp state procrap the ride really stiff and never let up until you replace them. So im going with skyjacker 0-1" Good price about 50 bucks a shock.

and you know the funny thing about that? Neither Pro Comp nor Skyjacker make their own shocks and both are made by Tenneco (parent company of Rancho & Monroe).

Shows you how easy it is to get a bad or good reputation on forums. One guy writes something is crap and it can snowball! Most of these companies who make lift kits and sell their brand of shocks all contract through someone to make them. Many of them use Tenneco who makes more shock absorbers than all other shock companies combined.

The Skyjacker is a good "middle of the road" shock. They should serve you well...

I got my Procomp ES9000 shocks for my leveled 2005 from 4 wheel parts. I just called them up and told them what I needed and they hooked me up. I went ahead and replaced the back ones also. Once I got them off I was glad I did because they was shot.

Here is the link to there site: http://www.4wheelparts.com/
