2008 Ram 1500 headlight adjustment
I put new lights in it last weekend and i was driving at night and noticed that they are way out of whack how do i adjust them.

they should be fine side to side, your trouble is up and down. there is a torx head in side the verticle rubber strip turn clock wise too raise and counter to lower. Thats for the right side, the left is the opposite I believe. Drive to a garage door and at fifteen feet center the beam too the first panel. another way is too use the bottom of a semi trailer . Or the icc bar. and set too that at 15 feet.

I have a 2008 Dodge Ram 3500 SLT. There is no side to side headlight adjustment. There is only an up and down adjustment. The confusion comes from the fact that the only adjustment screw, a Torex T20, is located on the inner side of each headlight bezel making it appear the only adjustment is left and right. Somehow, this screw adjustment adjusts up and down which is counter intuitive. I have examined the Bezel out of the vehicle and it appears the adjustment acts on something internally since the Bezel itself does not move. In addition, I replaced both left and right bezels with aftermarket units from AM Autoparts, which I found to at least appear to be of the same quality as OEM. The adjustment screw on the replacements were also a T20 Torex.
