Did you clean the idle air value on the TB to? I had the same problem on my 05. Cleaned the main TB bore and that idle air value and it worked perfectly.

 

Actually it does it when the A/C is off. If I have the A/C on it seems to work just fine.

 

Thats because it idles a little higher with the ac on my truck does the same thing once in awhile but it seems to do it when i baby it

Wanna thank everyone for their help and suggestions. I had a full throttle body service done today (at the dealers expense) and replaced the Idle Speed Control Valve, runs like a champ now. Just hope I didn't jinks myself. This was my first time to this forum and it was a very pleasant/helpful experience, thanks again.

 

What does your truck idle at with the air off 5000 0r 6000 rpm ?
