Default Plasti dip Overspray On my Tips and Paint. Help

So after trying to paint my back bumper with plasti dip, my little cuz thought it would be funny to spray this stuff on my tailgate and some on my new stanless steel tips. I so pissed. How do i get it off my tips?. its not like enough to peel off but its there. I was going to use a dish scubbing pad but dont want to scratch my new tips. And my damm tailgate. he sprayed it right on the paint. What will take it off good and not scratch. Thanks guys.

Plastic scraper maybe?

I'd probably grab the kid by the scruff of the neck use the top of his head like a Brillo pad, but that's me...

Not to point fingers, but if your painting your bumper, it's very easy to get overspray on your tailgate if you didn't tape or cover it up. tailpipe...You sure you weren't thinking it would look good and then didn't realize it got too hot and might smoke a little? I've done some dumb things in my days without thinking. Just sayin..that's how it sounds to me, but at any rate, that's regardless of the fact you need to get the stuff off.
Use a credit card to scuff against the paint as it won't scratch.
I would try blotting the areas with a damp towel soaked in kerosene and let it sit for a few minutes. Blot again and then scrape. Or try Googone if you have some, but the kerosene should be enough to break that stuff down. No, it won't hurt your clearcoat unless you let it sit on it for like an hour. I owned my own detail shop and NEVER had any problem with paint and kerosene. I used to put the stuff in a spray botle and literally soak the sides of Cable Co. vans after I peeled off the stickers. That stuff would sit on the paint for a few hours and not touch or bleed anything.

I'm sure an eraser pad would take it right off...

I dunno about claybar, but the pressu washer could work but you'd hve to be carfeulnot to tear off your paint in the process, some of those tips can cut rigt through your paint if you get too close.

I hope he has cleaned them by now??..lol
