Allstate only offered me $2200 after deductible so I took it to an auto body shop and they guy looked at my damage and said what are these people nuts? My wife has hook ups because her dads and auto body guy on the side so im gonna take it to one of his friends shops. The all state adjuster also told me that they cant cover my bumper because the damage was not done by a tree but I never saw it there before this. He actually added it on the estimate as a prior damaged part. I did not sign anything and I told em I will call back when I get another estimate. any advice?

Do you have any pictures of your bumper from say a month ago that shows the bumper in good condition and show the adjuster. Also good job on not signing!!

I don't think I have any clear pics. So what happens now? If I go to a body shop and the estimate is higher wont the insurance company just say screw you!?

I don't see how they can not pay to have it all fixed. Your truck was covered with a huge tree and you have pictures of that. How can they say that it didn't hit the bumper, just because where the tree rested at its final fall doesn't mean a branch didn't hit it on its way down, or the tree didn't bounce or roll into a different position after the initial hit. Get lots of estimates and take them all in to the insurance company and talk with your representative, they are suppose to work for you and help with the adjuster stuff. That is provided you have a insurance man and you are not dealing directly with the provider. If you have proof that it was damaged with estimates to back it up, they have to cover it. I can not believe that is all it is gonna cost to fix. My deer hit cost my insurance company $7,785, and I even allowed them to use some aftermarket parts or it would have been like almost 9g's... Dude you have a right to a voice, and use it... When this is all said and done I would look for a more reputable insurance company. I have AAA and they were spot on with the estimates and understood me when I stated I wanted quality parts not CHIT on my truck because it was like new yet with only 23000 miles on it. So get more clout to back you up, and march into the office and demand they fix it right. If they still try to screw you, see the better business bureau in your area for help. Good luck.

It sounds like you've got a crappy claims agent/adjuster. Call Allstate HQ and get them to send someone out that knows what he or she's talking about. Make sure that they look it over carefully. They don't owe you for unrelated damage, but they owe you restoration of your truck to it's condition before the tree fell on it. Or better.
