I cant seem to find any threads for building your own cai and i juess i could just take off my air filter box and but a good cone filter on it?

I dunno, I've made quite a few, and have taught a couple members here how to make one. I think they look as good as anything you can buy:

I going to make my own cai that why i dont have to have the filter hang down so low but what do i use to clean throttle body ?

Use non-chlorinated brake cleaner and some rags and maybe an old took brush

Good decision on making one...though, can you get me a link to these cheapies?

I wonder how thick they are and wrapping them in exhaust wrap might help them, if you already have one.

Found good and bad reviews and people calling it a HAI...

There are on e-bay most of them are $52 and up but there are a couple for $25 or short ram cai for $32 i going to put one build one tonight

Or you can get mopar knock offs from carpartswholesale or warehouse for like 70 shipped it comes with a decent filter and heat sheild
