wtf is a took brush? Check out my garage I have a painted shltter pipe. looks and performs real well. i used engine paint btw. and a 45 and 90 degree elbows with a 1 foot section should put you near the right head lamp assembly where you get the best air. spectre filter and a breather filter for the oil drain tube.

Just got done but what if i suck silcone in will it hurt the motor? the pvc dried fast so i could tilt the filter down ward but worried about silcone do i wait 24hrs it like 100 degress out

Looks good man. Silicone cant be good for an engine tho, but as long as you didnt leave any that can fall off or be pulled off from the sucking of the engine, i cant see it being a problem.
Someone else might have another view on it.

I'd let is set for maybe an hour or so... and dude, at least take the bar code sticker off the PVC!!!

I am going to make anothere one this is to short i what it up by the headlight right more cold air but you guys never worrie about the pvc clue coming off on the in side and being suck down the intake?

yeh it gets brittle after awhile and will flake off so i think i will just buy one and chalk this up to a bad mistake so $70 for my mistake and another $70 for a new store bought cai **** thats like $150 screw up i could have bought a duall cai

$70 MISTAKE!!! First of all, if you spent $70 you are shopping in the wrong place. Secondly, you obviously can re-use the boot and the filter, so you would be out about $9 in PVC and grommets by my estimation...

10' of schedule 40 PVC is a little under $8 here, I've made three of them out of a length before...

Screw that...just don't glue till it's in and you are satisfied. Then make 2 and sell one to a friend.

you know the old "measure twice, cut once" well, "mock it twice and glue once".
