well only if you get a flat tire-- its good to keep a plug kit in your truck if you dont have a spare

You will learn the answer to this question if you get a flat with your 35's. It may be tricky to fit a 35" spare under the bed, maybe someone with a larger than stock spare can chime in.

I have been running larger than stock tires on my trucks and 4x4 suv's since I was a teen and only once (Jeep Wrangler) did I buy a fifth tire. I always have both a tire repair kit and an off-road size can of Fix-a-Flat with me. Have had to plug a tire a few times, had to limp in once when I ran over a nail gun belt of framing nails (yeah was flapping away with a good dozen holes in the tire) for a big a$$ internal patch to be put on. Never needed to use the Fix-a-Flat though (I would only do so in an extreme emergency).
Been lucky for the most part.

You always here about how BAD it is to stick on a smaller (stock size) tire to get you to the tire shop in an emergency, but they been puttin' donut spares in vehicles for years, so I dunno?

Most cars don't have an lsd, that's why donut's are OK.

You can still use the stock spare, but you'll need to put the spare on the front and switch a tire around (depending on flat location).

I have 36s and an LSD but my stock spare was a 32". I dont keep my spare with me because of how my exhaust is ran. I do throw it in the bed when i go out of town but i also have my air tank and compressor as well as air hose. I also keep fix-a-flat and green slime with me as well just in case.

i don't mind keeping the spare in the bed i might just pick up a cheap 35" when i get my new tires

this has been a deciding factor between 33's and 35's just not sure what size to get, i don't off road much, a bit of field driving during haying season and few trips to the hunting camp so i don't need the articulation

thanks for the input!

If you do throw it in the bed get a cable and a lock. Down here in oklahoma spare tires seem to disappear alot. That and tail gates.
